Organizing yourself in the modern busy world seems like a difficult thing to do. That's because many of us have to complete a lot of daily tasks, have a lot of events which we must attend and so on. Using a paper agenda for organizing all the tasks and meetings is not efficient and may not help on the long term. That's why one should turn to software for organizing tasks. This Windows program allows you to store all your daily tasks and events, being able to remind you about them, so that you will never forget about a task. After installing the program, it will place a small window in the lower part of the screen. The user will notice that there are several demo tasks available, which have the purpose of proving the program's functionality. Each of the demo tasks can be modified, but the user can also create his own from scratch.

When defining a new task, the user should add some text regarding it, but also a time and date when the task is due. What's more, one can configure the program to display a message or send an email when a task is due, for making sure that he will not miss it.

In case there are numerous tasks added to the program and some of them are complete, the user can remove them from the list and add them to the Done tab, so that he can focus on the ones that are still not completed. Included in the program's interface is a calendar, which allows the user to organize himself.

The interface of HotPad can be changed using skins. There are several of them available, and more can be downloaded from the program's website. By accessing the options area of HotPad, the user can configure it to run at Windows startup and he can also enter the email account details, in order for the email notification feature to work.
